Description: I know this movie has been out for a couple weeks now, alot of people were anticipating to see it as I'm sure alot of you here as well ifyou already haven't. The Departed basically portrays a undercover gangster (Matt Damon) whom ended up working for the police & a undercover cop (Leonardo Dicaprio) whom ended up working for gangsters, in this case, Jack Nicolson being the gangster boss. Even though I was surprised to see that Jack N. was supposed to be in this movie (mostly because he plays such oofy roles), he did do a very good job acting out as a mob boss, in a whacky sort of way, as well as the rest of the people did portraying their characters. This movie mainly focuses on the 3 aforemnetioned characters and especially on Matt Damons and Leonardo dicaprios character. Whats good about this movie that it shows you the bad of the bad side, not only the good, in both dramatic and in alot of humorous ways. Alot of movies I'd end up getting bored or falling asleep on but this kept me going for 2:30 hours since there is so much tension and drama. The ending is something you sure as hell wouldn't expect but Im not the one to spoil it for you all. I give this movie a 5 out of 5 star rating, its a great gangster film whom many people have been longing for after the days of goodfellas and casino.
