From day 1, This card has been rock solid. Everything you could throw at this card, it generally laughs at it. With ViVo, and SLI its ready to go for a good few years.

Comming from a 6800GT as an upgrade, i didnt expect to see a huge boost in current games. And truthfully, i didnt see THAT big of a change. Some games, soak it up. Prey, Fear, some source mods like Eclipse (http://students.guildhall.smu.edu/~eclipse/).

In average resolutions (1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900) this card can handle just about every game in full detail, with full Anti Aliasing, and never really dip below 30 Frames Per Second. In crazy resoutions (anything over 1600x1200) it can bog, but thats expected with a single card setup.

Was it worth it? Sure it was. Worst case ill have to pick up a second one and go SLI.

Would i buy this card again, but now? Doubtful unless i found on on the cheap. Problem with cards such as this is you end up paying through the teeth for them. I paid 569.99 for this card from newegg when it first came out. Yes there was a few that were 480-500 or so at the time, but i wasent going to go "cheap" with a major purchase, more so on something that gets pushed 24 hours a day. Smile

If you can pick one up on the cheap, go for it. If not, Grab a 7900/7950.
