Awaiting the 360's arrival Call of duty 2 was one of the most talked about games to meet the Release date, the graphics looked stunning for the next generation console and this is where Call of duty 2 stood out from the rest.
When Call of duty was released a few years back it made a big impact on the WWII shooter genre, and we were all wondering would Activison be able to make Call of duty 2 make a statement as big as Call of duty. Did they let us down? NO.
Call of duty 2 follows its brother by putting you in the shoes of a solider going into WWII. On Call of duty 2 you can play 27 'epic single player missions spanning 3 campaigns' ; American, British and Russian, there are also 4 different difficulties; easy =2/10, normal =4/10 , hardened =7/10, Veteran =9/10 (~/10 hardness out of 10)
What i thought of the game
Well what to start with first, this game was expected to have good graphics but this gave more than good graphics it put you in the battlefield, the visuals are amazing, The game play doesn't let down either, it is fast pasted, fun and exciting you feel like you have been playing this game all you life. The sounds are not as impressive as the graphics and game play but they are there, mortars dropping down and bullets flying past your head, puts you in the battle along with the graphics. The longevity depends on the diffecuty, if you put it on easy you could finish in a day or 2, if you put it on veteran could take you up to a week upto a month. Depends on how much you play and your skillz.
Online and Offline
Offline i thought this game was amazing as i have pointed out, but online it didn't grip me with a maximum of 8 players. A new patch has just come out though so it may be better, not sure.
Overall
This is an amazing game and i would say a must buy for all 360 gamers and it is still one of my favorite games. This game is one of the best for showing how powerful the xbox 360 is so far upto date.If you are looking for a offline game look no further!
